For the 2022 World Cup, Wedgie joined forces with contemporary football's finest publication: Mundial.

Mundial is the go-to multi-platform magazine for football fans who appreciate the game both on and off the pitch. Blending sport, culture and storytelling, their work is sharp, stylish, witty and wonderfully nostalgic—making them the perfect match for Wedgie.

Together, we celebrated football's iconic heroes, taking fans on a globe-trotting journey through the beautiful game before bringing it back to where it all begins: your local pitch. A collaboration designed to remind you exactly why you fell in love with football in the first place.

One small step for doorstops

The Science Museum has been inspiring curious minds for generations, bringing together world-changing discoveries, iconic objects and remarkable stories of scientific achievement. It was the perfect launchpad for one of Wedgie's most out-of-this-world collaborations.

Created to celebrate the Museum's permanent Exploring Space gallery, the Science Museum x Wedgie collaboration introduced Apollo—our astronaut-inspired doorstop with a mission to keep doors firmly grounded.

Meet Apollo: On landing his first door-stopping job Apollo famously said; ‘that’s one small step for doors, one giant leap for nicely ventilated rooms’. When contemplating the possibility of other door-stop life, it’s very likely there are others, doing the same job in a similar universe far, far away. We guarantee however, no one will do their job as efficiently as Apollo.

Rallying the doorstopping troops 

The Imperial War Museum preserves the stories of those whose lives have been shaped by conflict, bringing history to life through powerful collections, thought-provoking exhibitions and remarkable objects. It was the perfect inspiration for one of Wedgie's most distinguished characters.

Created in collaboration with the Imperial War Museums, this special edition Wedgie pays tribute to one of Britain's most iconic wartime figures: Sir Winston Churchill.

Meet Winst: When the chips are down, Winst is often called upon to rally the Wedgie troops. He’s been known to inspire door stopping in the kitchen, in the hallways, in the bedrooms and the bathrooms and most amazingly, door stopping on the beaches.

Art and workshops 

Nestled inside a beautifully restored townhouse in London's Notting Hill, Couverture & The Garbstore is a creative concept store renowned for its carefully curated mix of fashion, accessories and homeware. Championing independent brands with stories to tell, it was the perfect home for Wedgie.

As part of London Craft Week, Wedgie teamed up with Couverture & The Garbstore to host a series of hands-on workshops, inviting visitors to design and make their very own Wedgies.

Leading the sessions was London-based illustrator and artist Maria Ines Gul, whose distinctive work blurs the line between the real and the imagined. To celebrate our collaboration, Maria also created an exclusive Wedgie inspired by carefree summer days; Saffron.

Meet Saffron: An original flower child, Saffron was born and raised at the height of the 1960’s peace & love movement. Saffy has four things she adheres to in life; altruism, feminism, naturism & doorstop-ism. Combine them all, and you have -quite possibly -the most perfect doorstopper in the Wedgie family.
